Abstract
henomenon in relation to the extent that affects individual spheres of state functioning, especially in public administration. Research methodology – the article will use mainly qualitative research methods to achieve the goal. The methodol-ogy of the work is based in the first part of the analysis of the theoretical basis, which uses a comparison within the European Union. The practical results of quantitative research through a questionnaire survey are presented in the final part of the paper.Findings – results can be used for both academic and social purposes and further research in this area. Research limitations – the article sees its limits in a broader comparison from an international perspective. Practical implications – the results can serve as a comprehensive material for further research, or an example of so-called Good Practice, how public administration can manage the issue of corruption. Originality/Value – the article in its essence deals with an original topic from the perspective of one country and per-formance of public administration in the field of corruption.
